    Plan Sponsor EFT Information
The purpose of this memo is to describe the sourcing and maintenance of Plan Sponsor EFT information which Drug Manufacturers will use to pay their quarterly invoices for the CGDP program.

Although most CMS plans rely on the Automated Plan Payment System (APPS) for payment information, the CGDP program does not.

Instead, the TPA manages a separate store of EFT data for each Plan Sponsor in the program and makes it available to all Drug Manufacturers involved in the Part D CGDP program.
Plan Sponsors, new to the program, will have a copy of their EFT information taken from APPS as the initial record to be managed by the TPA. During the enrollment process, they will be directed to the EFT update form on the TPA Operations Web site if they would prefer to have EFT information for the CGDP program to be different from what was in APPS at the time they enrolled.

At any time, both new and existing Plan Sponsors can update their CGDP EFT information via this method, as needed. Any changes will be published to Drug Manufacturers on a quarterly basis, per the EFT Calendar published on the TPA Operations Web site. Any changes or additions made will be identified and reported to manufacturers.  If no changes were made, the existing EFT information will be reissued as is.

To access the EFT Online form:

    Select EFT Information
Select EFT Online form (For Sponsor use only)

To access the EFT Quarterly Calendar

    Select CGDP Calendar
Select Go to page 7 for EFT Quarterly Update Timeline

**Please note these are the same EFT forms, just renamed to differentiate from the manufacturer EFT forms.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact TPA Operations at 1-877-534-2772, option 1 or via email at tpaoperations@tpadministrator.com.
